屋外と屋内が入り混じるオフィス
安永2年より大阪府伊丹市で造園業を営まれている山中育樹園のお客様と庭の打ち合わせをする為の場所とオフィスの計画である。
長い時間の中で部分的に手を入れられていた既存建物はサンルームの園芸店と連続しており、
植物に目をやりながら外部を歩んでいると知らぬ間にサンルームに迷い込むくらい内外が植物をもって連続している印象を受けた。
私たちはこの計画場所で感じた内外の連続性を室内まで延長させることを考え計画をした。
そうすることで内外を曖昧にし、屋外でも屋内でも植物の話ができる環境ができるのではないかと考えた。
まず室内の一部を屋外と見立て計画した。
屋外に見立てられた室内にはコンクリートブロックを積み上げたテーブルやアウトドアテーブルセットを用意し、
そこに室内である打ち合わせの為の個室と大きく間口を開いたオフィスが隣接する構成とした。
全体を構成するマテリアルは外部用ブロック・スチール・レンガなど外構を業となさっている会社であることから
彼らが日常使用しているマテリアルを用いることでより内外の連続性を強くする計画とした。
屋外に見立てた中間的な空間があることにより屋外からの入りやすさや大らかで気持ちの良い居心地を得ることができ、
働く人が心地よく、いらっしゃるお客様も気軽に相談できる環境になったのではないかと考える。
Office combining interior and exterior
This plan is for a place and an office for garden meetings with customers for Yamanaka Ikujyuen, a landscape gardening company that has been in business in Itami City in Osaka Prefecture since 1773.
An existing building that was partially maintained over a long period of time continued on from the sun room gardening centre and visitors got the impression of continuity of plants from indoors to outdoors to the point where you could get lost in the sun room before you knew it even if you had been looking at the plants outdoors to begin with.
We made our plan with the intention of extending the continuity of interior and exterior that we felt at this place to the indoors.
By doing this, we believe that it will make the difference between interior and exterior become vague and make it possible to create an environment in which plants can be discussed both indoors and outdoors.
First of all, we planned to convert a part of the interior into the exterior.
We created a structure in which this interior part houses a table made of concrete blocks and an outdoor table set and is adjacent to the interior office with a large, open frontage and private rooms for meetings.
The materials for the overall structure were exterior blocks, steel and bricks, etc. and the plan emphasized the continuity between the interior and exterior using materials that this company uses on a daily basis as a company in the outdoor business world.
Due to the intermediate space that is set up as the exterior, it was possible to obtained generous, feel-good comfort with ease of access from outside and we believe it is an environment in which the people who work there are comfortable and the customers who visit can consult in a relaxed atmosphere.
